About Me
Music has been part of my lifelong journey. I was born into a musical family where art and music were encouraged and treasured. I grew up listening to various genres of music. I started singing at around six, playing Keys at 11, and creating my first band at 15.
I firmly believe that you are born with musical ears, which naturally drive you to hear the nuances and sonic mixtures, ultimately allowing you to add and deliver unique musically. My mother played Hawaiian Guitar and Harmonium. I picked up digital keys and synths to create unique tones. My natural intuition to capture and reproduce tunes gradually pushed me to start working on original compositions and band music and later record, mix, and master using various studio technologies.
Analogue Mindset in Digital Age
Digital technology brought the virtual analog studio gears to home. I am a great fan of API Console and other analog gears. I use their true digital version on all my tracks in my DAW.
Key Milestones
-
The first band “Echoes” was formed in early 1988 and became a frequent live band performing numbers from Jive Bunny & Master Mixers to Sting.
Echoes came out with their first Album in 1990 which climbed Bangladesh’s one and only Anondo Mela Chart at #9. Critics said the compositions were a new style, bringing the Pink Floyd era to Bangla Band Music.
Moved on to the band Monitor and released two albums between 1990 and 1992. Both were a huge success.
-
I started working at the Analog Studio Sruti as a technical studio hand in 1991 and became a recordist and mix engineer in 1993.
I joined Digitone in 1995 and became an assistant studio engineer. I got hands-on experience with Universal Audio’s Teletronix LA-2A, Neve preamp the classic 1073® module with EQ, and more.

After migrating to New Zealand, my passion for music continued. I frequently performed live and became one of the Runners-Up in the New Zealand music scene by participating in the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Music Contest in 2005. I also continued to work with the local and community music scene. I appeared on Channel-i of Bangladesh performing a legendary song with a modern twist. Between 2004 - 2015 I worked on several music projects for Bangladeshi, Indian, and Afghani singers. I aimed to promote potential singers by producing their songs and having them perform in concerts.
After settling in Texas, USA - I became more serious about producing quality music by bringing in top-of-line audio engineering technologies.
